In these terms and conditions and in the privacy statement set out below, ME Group International plc is referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”.

Below are the terms and conditions applicable to use by a customer (referred to as “you” and “your”) who uses any of our Spin Saver washing or drying machines (a “Spin Saver machine”).

By using a Spin Saver machine, you will be deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

You will not use a Spin Saver machine:

(i) for any unlawful purpose; or

(ii) for any purpose unconnected with the washing and drying of garments and other fabrics using a Spin Saver machine.

We are not responsible for any loss of or damage to possessions while using a Spin Saver machine. You are solely responsible for the safety and security of your belongings at all times.

In the rare event that a Spin Saver machine damages any items in your wash, our maximum liability and your sole remedy, whether such liability is in contract, negligence or delict, statute or otherwise at law, is as follows.

You will be entitled to a refund of the price of the wash.

We will normally issue a full refund on a “no-quibble” basis but reserve the right to ask you to provide evidence to support your claim. This also enables us to assess any alleged issue with the wash or machine.

Where you contact our call centre, we may ask you to submit your request in writing if we have difficulty understanding the details of your claim, so that we can ensure any refund is processed correctly.

In no event will we have any liability whatsoever for any indirect or consequential loss incurred by you or anyone for whom you may be acting, howsoever that loss may be caused, including without limitation our negligence or other breach of duty, and regardless of whether we have or are deemed to have any knowledge of any potential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Where you are dealing with us as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.

2. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. This Privacy Statement applies to the use of Spin Saver machines and our website and explains how certain personal information may be collected and used.

We do not collect personally identifiable information through Spin Saver machines except where necessary to provide a service, such as payment information or mobile numbers.

Such information may be collected where you voluntarily provide it and may be used for purposes such as:

• Processing payments for laundry services.
• Sending notifications relating to your wash or dry cycle, where this service is available.
• Responding to customer service enquiries or refund requests.

Payment information is processed through our payment service providers and we do not retain full payment card details in our local systems.

Any other information received from you following your use of a Spin Saver machine for customer service purposes — such as your name, address, telephone number or email address — will be used to manage your enquiry and for other purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

We may occasionally update these Terms of Use to reflect changes to our services, legal requirements or customer feedback.

We encourage you to periodically review these Terms of Use to stay informed of any changes.
